Our World Has Been Shattered

If we aren't friends on Facebook, you may or may not have seen that Berkeley's mom passed away unexpectedly on Monday. She was a great woman that was so very connected to so many people through different hobbies, interests, her jobs and via Facebook. My job throughout this time has been keeping all those people updated as that would have been something she wanted. Berkeley thought it should be shared here since she was such a great supporter of the blog.

We have a big task ahead of us here in Tucson with Berke's dad and ourselves. I will most likely be pretty absent here. I am wrapping this post up with the picture Berke and his father have chosen to remember her with, as well as her obituary.

• It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we pass along the unfortunate news that Libby Neumann Krueger, 56, of Tucson and Bisbee, Arizona, unexpectedly passed away from unknown natural causes, Monday August 26, 2013.

  She was born August 2, 1957 to Alfred and Donna Neumann. Libby graduated from Ed W Clark High School in 1975 and then went on to study education and recreation at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She married her best friend Kurt Krueger in October 1981, in Las Vegas, where they lived together until relocating to Tucson, Arizona in 1995 and most recently purchasing a second home in Bisbee, Arizona in 2009.

  Libby will be remembered in many ways by many different people. To her family she was and remain a loving, dedicated wife and mother. Many will remember her has their adoptive, and super supportive, Band Mom. Others will recall her amazing sense of humor, her abilities to bring people together, and her warm and caring heart. After many years of service and dedication at the Oro Valley branch of the Pima County Public Library, Libby recently went back to focusing on her art and jewelry full time. She has spent the last few years doing what she loved, spending time with her family, creating beautiful work, and renovating a historic home in Bisbee, where many know her as a free spirited artist above all else.

  Libby is survived by her husband, Kurt; her son and daughter in law, Berkeley and Ashley Krueger, of Flagstaff, AZ; sister, Kathleen Neumann, of Las Vegas, NV; and her parents, Al and Donna Neumann of Tucson, AZ. She is also leaving behind countless friends, family, and peers from all over the world that loved her dearly.

  Final arrangements are being made according to Libby's beliefs and last known wishes.
