Our Weekend

Poolside at The Legacy Golf Resort

This weekend was so crazy! We (that's right! WE as in Berkeley and I! YAY!) drove down to Phoenix to spend time with people we love (i.e.: part of the wedding party and BK's parents) and to celebrate what was hopefully the end of Berkeley's last off-forest resource order of the 2012 Fire Season. Berke also needed to get an idea of what he will be wearing to the wedding. The weekend included brunch, shopping, fender benders, beautiful weather, room service, poolside shenanigans, bar hopping, dancing, creepy middle aged men, and mini golf!

It was a whirlwind 36 hours for us! I am still recuperating from all the fun (hence this getting posted at 11am instead of 7am). I ended the weekend with a busted knee, a slight sunburn, blisters, a small collection of bruises, some sore muscles, and possibly a cold. It was entirely worth it! I remember this weekend for the rest of my life. It was so much fun! We have great people in our life. We are so blessed!

In other news, today is the wedding anniversary for some awesome people in our lives. It is Sammy and Casey's first wedding anniversary! It is the second anniversary for Heather and Brent. Also, three years ago today, one of my college girlfriends, Amanda, married her husband Sam! Congrats to all of you! We love you all and wish you many more years of wedded bliss!
