After all of the crafting, we took a minute to get pretty. The day started with driving into town at about 10am. Sam got kinds of beauty treatments and procedures and whatnot. It was crazy!
Here Sammy is after the first half of the "beautification" day. She had eyelashes done. They used a special glue to add eyelash extensions. She had to keep her eyes closed for 20 to 40 minutes to allow the glue to set. From the back room they led her to the pedicure chair where they worked on her hands and feet at the same time. She said she felt like a princess!
Clearly, it was an all day affair! We had lunch at the salon. Even though I didn't get anything done it was an awesome day! It was definitely a mellow and fun bonding day. I know most brides like to spend their spa days with their whole bridal party, but it was nice having just one day with the sisters. Don't get me wrong, I love the other bridesmaids, but we don't get enough time together these days. It was great.
