Attention Please!

BK and I have a huge announcement to make. We got engaged early Christmas morning! Everyone keeps asking for a story, and I know most proposals have a long involved and unique story. Ours is fairly simple and sweet. We both filled stockings for each other with gifts. When I finished opening my gifts, Berkeley went into the room and grabbed a small black paper box, with purple and gold swirl decorative paper wrapped on it with a purple ribbon.

As he handed it to me and as I opened the box he said "there is something tied to it". Not thinking about anything in particular, I pulled the ring out and said "There's nothing on this ring". I thought nothing of it because last Christmas he gave me a ring. Then he looked at me and asked if I would marry him. I teared up and said "really" and he said yes and nodded yes. And then we hugged and kissed. It was mushy and sweet.

On to the ring. It is a large round sapphire in a silver prong setting. On each side of the sapphire is a small triangle diamond. I love it! I like that it isn't some itty bitty plain solitaire diamond ring. It has personality. BK said he picked it because it reminded him of my eyes. AWWWW!
