Caramelized Brussel Sprouts and Strawberries
Ingredients
- 12-14 large brussel sprouts
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 5-7 large strawberries
- Thinly slice brussel sprouts and dice garlic cloves.
- Heat the olive oil over medium high in a large skillet and saute the garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add brussel sprouts, salt and pepper. Saute for 4-5 minutes, until bright green and tender.
- Remove from heat and toss in brown sugar.
- Dice your strawberries add to the cooled pan. Toss everything together and then serve.
