Happy Homemaker Monday: Nov 22

The weather in my neck of the woods:
Saturday and Sunday were dreary. And then Sunday it snowed overnight, and we woke up with a nice dusting on Monday morning. It is quite cold. The forecast calls for snow again Wednesday.

Things that make me happy:
There is only 3 weeks of school left for the semester. My family, our friends and the people in our life that are supportive of us and our ventures.

Book I'm reading:
Still not reading any novels. Maybe in a few weeks?

What's on my TV today:
Saturday, we watching Changeling with Angelina Jolie about the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders. It was an interesting view of the topic.

On the menu for dinner:
Hamburgers!

On my To Do List:
Thanksgiving shopping
Finish Christmas Cards
Mail gifts

New Recipe I tried or want to try soon:
Pumpkin Spice Latte

In the craft basket:
Reversible infant mittens, burp cloths, pacifier holders, our christmas cards, as well as some personalized gifts (same as last week unfortunately)

Looking forward to this week:
Our "Thanksgiving festivities" start on Wednesday!

Tips and Tricks:
If you live at high altitudes, definitely check out King Arther Flour's High Altitude Baking Guide. It really helped me with making a great pumpkin roll!

My favorite blog post this week:
I didn't get to read very many postings this week :(

Blog Hopping (a new discovered blog you would like to share with the readers):
See above!

No words needed (favorite photo or picture, yours or others you want to share):

On my mind:
How thankful I am for the amazing people in my life.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Phil 4:6

I love that photo! You can keep the snow down there, we don't want any of it. :)
